Work in progress barbarians / marauders update 1
Below are some WIP pics of my new barbarians of sloth/ marauders of nurgle.
The minis come from the 40k conquest kit and fit very nicely on the 25 x 25 base.
Skin tones are bleached bone hit with a reikland fleshshade and then bleached bone, skull white highlights. Weapons, bones cloth follows my usual approach from other posts.
More to come including some conversions for the command group.

Putrid Blightkings Update 2 - first four finished
For update 1 please see here.
After a little delay I have finished the first four of these badass bros on 40x40 bases.
The below pictures are prior to some dull coat so I expect the gold trim and silver weapons and armour to tone down a little.
Ranking up is fine in various options and I look forward to the next project below that will be some nurgle marauders/ sloth barbarians. Again these are straight from the 40k conquest kits and apart from needing a few grenades to be removed, the conversions so far are limited to the standard bearer below.

Forsworn update 1
As part of my update to my twenty five years old Chaos Warriors of the Dark Gods army, I have decided to convert the terminators from the 40k conquest periodical into Forsworn for the 9th Age.
The terminators needed a mix of conversions mainly to chop off storm bolters to be replaced by paired weapons. I found an orc arm with a large meat cleaver and added some extra spiky armour plates that seemed appropriate for the sloth/ nurgle theme.
I decided to break up the dull greens and browns to paint as many of the non bone tentacles pink and purple with some black boils.
The rest of the painting followed the same recipe as the chosen warriors prescribed here.
The below are some work in progress shots and I hope to finish the unit in the next week or so.
