Some pics of a friendly 5000 point battle.
Despite losing my choppy Chosen Lord on his dragon the chaos knights took out the left flank whilst my centre and right flank routed the beasts.
Great game for the Warriors.
Crappy pictures, links, reviews and random musings from my world of miniature wargaming

This is a repaint of a Chaos/Chosen Lord on chariot I ended up with after a couple of swaps.
The Lord himself is one of my favourite miniatures. It’s a classic GW sculpt of one serious bad ass with a big F’n axe in one hand and the other hand squeezing the life out of a wood/sylvan elf.
I think the chariot is a mix of chaos and dark elf parts with the lady from a dark elder kit (I think). Almost all of the mini is metal reflecting the age of plastic we are in now.
I have a few 9th Age games coming up where I will give him a run.
I am not sure of the origin of the lance/ great weapons as I got them as part of a trade but they look suitably wicked for these dudes.
Finally, here is all eight knights on their path to damnation.
I have another five knights each with a killer lance/ great weapon. Stay tuned.
This old school old forest goblin shaman has finally seen the light and joined the ranks of the mighty Hobgoblah Khan.
The hobgoblin leadership team
The full hobgoblin horde.
Tried a bit of the oxide effect - gonna try this a bit more in the future.
Overall an easy conversion with a weapon swap and a little cutting off of a few more sci fi looking parts.
First up is an old GW sorcerer with an oversized icon. Paint scheme is slaanesh/lust for the old world/ 9th Age.
He was going to be a dragon rider but the sculpt was a little too inflexible since he is old school metal.
Next is a kit bash Khorne/Wrath badass with paired weapons on a chaos knight plastic body with a head from an Avatars of War lord on foot.
Great news is he fits great on old Galrauch.
This is Dr Doomsludge - a mighty chaos sorcerer of Nugle/Sloth.
The miniature is from the 40k conquest periodical with the necessary conversions to make him more fantasy.
In the last two years I have been trying to finish my lead (and in this case I mean lead) mountain of warriors of chaos and my beloved chaos/ infernal dwarfs.
With the curly beards done I have been concentrating on their northern cousins who similarly sold their soul (for rock and roll I am sure).
After a few false starts it was time for the mighty all metal version of Galrauch. I am extremely happy with how it has turned out and am in the process of converting a rider for this mighty beast to terrorise the 9th Age and sometime in the future, a return to the Old World.
With the below six more spear bros my unit is now complete
