Some more reinforcements for my Alpha Legion with the Chaos Lord from the blackstone fortress set and a venomcrawler.
I always liked the lord mini with one of reasons for his inclusion in my new Alpha Legion is the amount of tentacles growing out of his armour. He appears to slowly becoming one with those tentacles.
The only conversion I needed to do was shaving down his left should pad so I could apply the Alpha Legion transfer.
Painting of both minis followed the approach of the Alpha Legion Legionnaires with a little extra attention for the lord befitting of his status.
Both bases had cork added to represent rocks to break up the bases a little more. After I finished the paint job I decided to add some barbed wire to both bases so a few of these pics are from before that addition.
As is with the case with my Alpha Legion I want there to be a slow mix of the weapons and armour with the yellow green tentacles. The venomcrawler demonstrates this with the “flesh” and exhaust fumes painted the same way.
