Deathwing Terminators 2
This is my second unit of Deathwing Terminators for my Dark Angels army.
This unit is kitted out for combat with the exception being the addition of a single bro with his cyclone missile launcher.
Painting used the below paints over a white undercoat. I used the GW skeleton horde contrast paint that I highly recommend. I wanted the lightning claws and thunder hammer to appear to be super charged so used a plasmatic blue speed paint over the stormhost silver.
The greens and red used the below paints.
I have another five termies in the pile of shame and will have another five when the leviathan box turns up. With a second hand land raider currently being stripped and some characters arriving soon, my mid year hobby plan is to paint a complete Deathwing army.

Primaris Impulsor
After my last game I decided it was as time to assemble the Impulsor tank I had lying around.
Although this is the smaller version and can only hold six of the Emperor’s finest primaris, it will fit my current painted Bladeguard vets and their lieutenant buddy.
This time I used a white undercoat and the dark green speed paint.
I built as many of the weapon options but will favour the invulnerable save option when used a party bus for the vets.
I have a heap of transfers so went a bit nuts and even used some retro ones that leave a border but are black so that makes them cool.

Deathwing Bladeguard Veterans
These three bros are my latest Bladeguard Vets for my Dark Angels.
The first two bros are here.
Again I used multiples of the primaris lieutenant from issue 1 of the imperium magazine.
Weapons and arms came from a variety of different marine kits including the Dark Angels primaris upgrade kit.
Painting followed the approach of the first two and I like that each dude has a unique look befitting of their veteran status. I used them in a recent game and they did ok but they did come up against those necron hand to hand beasts who tore them apart.
Here is the full unit of five.
40k Terrain
My ongoing challenge to clear out the pile of shame includes building up my terrain collection.
First up are some containers and a ruined manefactorium.
Next up is some scatter terrain using 40k barrels and cases combined with sandbags and brick walls from a cheap army men set. These were quick to paint and make good spots for or to be used as, objective markers.
Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought
This is my completed Redemptor Dreadnought for my Dark Angels.
My usual paint scheme for Dark Angels green is below.
Although this scheme works well over infantry, the big panels were a challenge and some mistakes were covered up by transfers.
The remainder of the mini had mixes of reds, metal with the barrel of the gun using GW runelord brass.
I used him in this mega game last weekend and he is an absolute monster but eventually fell as the necron heavies decided to target him and the blood angels landraider that were leading the charge.
