Alpha Legion Chosen and Tournament List

 With a day to spare, I have finished my last unit for a one day tournament this weekend.

The Chosen are one of my favourite units and I have always been a fan of these sculpts that came with the Dark Vengeance box set.

Painting followed the approach of my Legionaries with the extra amount of tentacles and weapons all given my usual yellow green paint as they slowly become one with the Chosen.

For this list I have the champ rocking a plasma pistol represented by the Kranon the Relentless mini.

One bro has the obligatory bolt gun and accursed weapon.

Another four bros have the maximum number of anti-infantry combi weapons. I had a very bad experience up against these dudes in my last game so had to make them part of my Alpha Legion list.

Two more won’t be getting any Wolverine blues (apologies to the mighty Entombed band).

The final two have the bolt pistol and power fist combo to smash up anything that comes their way.

They will be led to the battle by the mighty Alpharaddon/ Omegaddon and will no doubt enjoy having his warmaster abilities passed on. As the big guy won’t fit into a Chaos Rhino they will have to leg it across the battlefield but they will have enough fire support from havocs and the infiltratoring Legionaries and meat shield aka the cultists.

I have themed my list to have the two legionaries and two cultist units infiltrate. I have not maxed these out as I am still working out the best approach on how to do this sneaky move.

The rubics will be in a rhino dropped last to maximise their chance of extra burning on any unit that comes forward to take objectives.

The chosen, Alpharaddon/Omegaddon and maulerfiend will slowly advance supported by the havocs and Venomcrawler.
